Celebrate Our People on World Thinking Day – 22 February

Since 1926, World Thinking Day has celebrated international friendship, united Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, raised awareness of issues affecting girls and young women, and raised vital funds for the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). Today, our Movement connects millions of members across more than 150 countries. Celebrate World Thinking Day by donating to the Fund!

2027 – Our People 🔥

This year, we celebrate Our People: the members, leaders, volunteers and changemakers who shape our Movement and inspire lasting change.

Donate in honour of someone special in Guiding, Scouting or your wider life. You can include a tribute message with your gift and choose to share it with your honoured person. Your name will appear on their e-certificate as the donor, celebrating your generosity and their impact.

The World Thinking Day Fund is a vital source of unrestricted income for WAGGGS. Your support keeps the annual activity pack free and accessible worldwide, funding its development, translation and distribution. It also helps WAGGGS direct resources where they are needed most to empower girls and young women.
